About this Mac
Announced in November 2024, the M4 Pro is Apple's mid-tier M4 chip built on a second-generation 3nm process. It ships with a 12-core CPU (8 performance + 4 efficiency) or a 14-core CPU (10 performance + 4 efficiency), a 16- or 20-core GPU, a 16-core Neural Engine, and 273 GB/s of unified memory bandwidth — roughly double the base M4. Configure 24 GB, 48 GB, or 64 GB of unified memory and 512 GB up to 8 TB of SSD.
