About this Mac
Released in June 2023, the M2 Max is Apple's 5nm high-end chip in the Mac Studio. It pairs a 12-core CPU (8 performance + 4 efficiency) with a 30- or 38-core GPU, a 16-core Neural Engine, and 400 GB/s of unified memory bandwidth. Configure 32 GB, 64 GB, or up to 96 GB of unified memory and 512 GB up to 8 TB of SSD, with plentiful Thunderbolt 4 connectivity for external storage and displays.
